An Empowering, Nonjudgemental Birthing Guide

How Will You Remember This?
Core Values and Mission
My hope is that we can work together to build the tools for you to create a meaningful birth experience no matter what your situation is. My main values are respect, sensitivity, openness, and an emphasis on confidentiality. I offer a warm heart and warm hands in order to provide comfort and guidance during this overwhelming but exciting time. I never want to push my own beliefs on you or make you feel guilty for any of the choices you make. This is your birth and your baby. I am simply here to ensure it remains your birth.
My Story
How I Got Here
Hi there, I'm Abbie! I am currently a student at Florida State University pursuing a degree in Family and Child Sciences. I am a new doula pursuing DONA certification. I have received my education in Breastfeeding for Doulas as well as an Introduction to Childbirth. My main motivation behind becoming a doula was the research on the clinical benefits for both the mother and the baby from having a doula providing support. My belief is that any person that wants a doula should have one, so it should go without saying that I welcome clients of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, national origins, marital statuses, ages, religions, ethnicities, citizenship statuses, disabilities, or any other protected groups. I sincerely hope that you find the right doula for you! Feel free to reach out for any questions you might have!
